Application for Senior Computational Designer at CDM Smith
Thanks for clicking through to my website. Here you can check out my CV and work samples, my plugin and Github, and my blog. I would also be happy to give references. I'm looking forward to talking with you soon!
CV/Resume
Work Samples
A brief selection of some project work and tool-building I've done for Ennead Architects.

Dartmouth University Presentation
A longer selection of slides from a talk I gave recently to a group of undergraduate students for the course Integrated Design: Engineering, Architecture, and Building Technology, taught by professor Jack Wilson. You won't get the content of my speech, but there are some good images in there of computational design work I've done at Ennead.

Corvid Plugin
Corvid is a Grasshopper plugin I've just published that makes it easier to store string data in a Rhino document and access data about the Rhino version, user, and license.

Corvid: a plugin for record-keeping

Code Complete Blog
I also write a blog about computer science in the context of computational design. At a conference in Berlin last year I asked McNeel developer Andy LeBihan what single resource he would recommend to a self-taught programmer, and he told me I needed to read Code Complete by Steve McConnell. As I read through this hefty book, I'm writing blog posts about each chapter, with the goal of creating an accessible guide for computational designers who are interested in learning more about computer science and programming.

Upcoming Conferences
I will be attending the McNeel Rhino User Meeting in Basel on March 28th, including an invite-only preview workshop with conference speaker Verena Vogler (McNeel) and a tour of the Herzog & deMeuron archive on March 27.
I will also be attending Shape to Fabrication in London from April 12th to 17th, including the AEC Tech hackathon at Foster+Partners, McNeel Developer Day, and the Grasshopper 2 plugin development workshop with David Rutten.
